The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

Primary Function:

The Materials Analyst will ensure adequate materials availability & inventory levels as required by Production Plans. The Materials Analyst will be responsible for maintaining world class performance levels of Inventory Value, Days on Hand and On Time Delivery. This individual will work closely with the plant operations teams to deploy standard process and tools to optimize materials operations, manage supplier leadership discussions, escalations to buyers and Commodity Managers.

Essential Functions:

  • Monitor and control inventory levels of materials through the proper use of available tools in AS400-MAPICS system (MRP, Inventory Management, etc…) and systematic reviews to receipts & returns.
  • Monitor and track performance to metrics such as: Inventory Value, DOH, Suppliers On Time Delivery (OTD), among others
  • Lead supplier discussions to avoid disruptions into the plant.
  • Control daily critical items report for the production schedule.
  • Review Over Max inventory to look for reduction opportunities.
  • Lead material Deviations regarding material availability, (Quality, Logistics, Discrepancies)
  • Manage open Defective Materials Reports (DMRs) to suppliers ensuring resolution by determined due date.
  • Maintains excess/obsolete material controlled.
  • Request on time cycle counts in case items go below 50% min to assure production plan is covered.
  • Provide direct support to Finance Department during physical inventory process.
  • Support other areas within the organization (commodity management, quality, production, finance, customer service, engineering, etc ...) as required.
  • Support safety inspections, Gemba Walkarounds as required by MESH department.
  • Compliance to all EHS required trainings.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration,MaterialsManagement or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Materials Planning, Purchasing or Finance.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • No relocation assistance will be provided for this role. Only candidates that reside within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AS400, MAPICS, and Oracle
  • Fully Bilingual: written and oral fluency in Spanish & English.
