Eaton’s Aerospace sector, Fluid and Electrical Distribution division, is currently seeking an Quality Inspector/PC Boards to join our team on 1st Shift. This position is based at our Glenolden, PA facility.

In this function you will:

  • Visual inspection of PC boards to confirm correct components, orientation, and workmanship IQAW IPC-A-610
  • Identify and report use of counterfeit parts and defects
  • Generate Defective Material Reports for nonconforming product
  • Works with manufacturing and electrical engineering to resolve issues and rework nonconformances
  • Complete inspection documentation and review First Article Inspection reports
  • Program and execute Simm Scope inspections

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing environment and/or Associates Degree in Electrical discipline in lieu of work experience.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Glenolden, PA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Three (3) years’ experience in electronics manufacturing environment
  • Prior soldering experience
  • Associate’s Degree in Technical Discipline

Position Criteria:

  • Minimum of 3 years reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Familiarity with precision measurement equipment (calipers and micrometers etc.)
  • Must be or previously certified IPC-A-610
