Job Description

The Future Talent Program features internships that lasts up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research & Development Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

A summer intern position in Global Clinical Supply (GCS) provides you with an exciting development opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the end-to-end supply chain and network with professionals across supply chain, the clinical trial space and across our company.

The ideal candidate should be curious, have strong Microsoft office suite skills, be able to work both independently as well as collaboratively in diverse team settings, have excellent written and oral communication skills, be very organized with attention to details, coupled with an ability to deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Support Strategic Operations lead with planning and delivering on a wide range of programmatic and communications tasks as required within the GCS organization, some of which include (but not limited to):

  • developing departmental communications, weekly messages that reflect key milestones across GCS.

  • work across the organization to collate and convert accomplishments into ‘success stories’ that can be communicated.

  • creating content (powerpoint, videos etc) in support of meetings, defining ‘day in the life of GCS colleagues’ etc.

  • maintain GCS sharepoint, creating functional updates as required in consultation with functional area SME’s.

  • aggregation of head count numbers, as needed, across the organization and and maintain relevant systems/spreadsheets.

  • develop project plans for key deliverables and activities / timelines in collaboration with GCS colleagues to support escalations.

  • coordinate metrics gathering working with SME’s and create presentations

  • ability to function in a team environment and pursue information when it is not readily available.

  • project management activities including creating meeting agendas and minutes.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Candidates must be a currently enrolled undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.

  • Candidates must be available for 3 months beginning in Summer 2023

  • Candidates must have completed at least (1) years of studies toward bachelor’s degree by June 2023.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Candidates should have Microsoft Suite of offerings experience

  • Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Candidates should be a cooperative team player, self-starter with the ability to work independently

  • Candidates should have awareness of GMP practices

  • Candidates should have the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with diverse teams globally

  • Candidates should have some experience with ERP systems (SAP, JDE) – but not required

  • Candidates should have an interest in communications, project management, have a growth mindset and strong interest in supply chain.

  • Candidates should have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
