AD HEOR Process and Operations
766 million lives were touched by Novartis medicines in 2021, and while we’re proud of this, we know there is so much more we could do to help improve and extend people’s lives.<br>This role will provide planning, management and executional leadership and support to HEOR & PH function in following areas, among others: HEOR Central budget, HEOR processes (including annual business planning, observational research and publication processes), and research process improvement (including updating WPDs). This role will report to Sr Director, HEOR ORF OSO, and work closely with VP HEOR & PH.<br><br>1. Collect and analyze operational data to define performance metrics, operational issues and opportunities for improving efficiency; collaborate within and outside the function to address identified issues and improve operational efficiency and compliance per defined performance metrics.<br>2. Lead shaping and managing HEOR Central buget and facilitate monitoring/ adjusting HEOR Therapy Area budget<br>3. Champion compliance across the board for HEOR researchers and cross-functional collaborators (e.g. facilitate completion of required project forms and milestone documentation per WPDs, report issues & deviations, lead fulfilling audit requests), and drive alignment and communication on updates on Novartis WPDs and SOPs<br>4. Monitor, maintain and/or train on functional information management and collaborative platforms (e.g., Confluence) across teams within the function<br>5. Other activities may include organizing departmental meetings, supporting Outcome Research Forum (ORF) process, preparing presentations for management updates, leading specicial projects, etc. <br>6. Lead in line with company cultural aspiration – “Unbossed,” “Curious,” and “Inspired.” Contribute to continuous improvement and development of HEOR function through leadership of functional initiatives and change management. <br>The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $166,400 and $249,600year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/22 through 12/31/22, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
