Position Summary 

This position is for a Sr. Support Analyst with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, clear and concise oral and written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams and experience in Salesforce.com & Veeva CRM. 


Position Responsibilities* 

  • Work directly with multiple business unit stakeholders to understand their individual needs and to provide suggestions based on system capabilities

  • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and/or business processes to meet user requirements. Review and prioritize enhancement requests to support strategic planning activities. Demonstrate and explain the functionality outcome of solution implementations. 

  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and clearly define the technical solution using OOTB solution as top priority before requesting enhancement.

  • Collaborate with System Administrators to develop reporting specifications that meet business requirements and organizational needs.

  • Communicate, build strong relationships with, and work closely with Service Desk support and internal IT to resolve system, data related and/or workflow issues.

  • Partner with the testing team and cross-functional teams to ensure application enhancements or changes are fully integrated and functional end-to-end. 

  • Understand business drivers that will impact performance, and effectively instrument on the right solution. 

  • Leverage process improvement experience to create and implement global CRM processes. 

  • Regularly connect with the peers across multiple delivery teams and ensure all the solutions/deliverables are aligned to the final delivery goals. 

  • Partner with the upstream & downstream Integration teams for the end-to-end implementations. 

  • Document Knowledge Base Docs, SOPs, Solutions, and guidelines for local and global teams.  

  • Improve training and operational procedures to increase efficiency and productivity. Assist and educate the business on how to use the CRM tool effectively.

  • Coordinate with all stakeholders (cross-functional teams) and instrument for the best-in-class solution implementations. 


Desired Experience* 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry working with Commercial and/or medical teams

  • Salesforce or Veeva Certifications and experience with Veeva CRM/Veeva Vault core functionality

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; and extensive knowledge of the requirements gathering process which includes business and technical analysis   

  • Effective and clear communication to and from the technical team for any issues that may affect the deliverables & timelines and outline an agreeable alternate plan. 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with matrix teams.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a good knowledge of salesforce.com and/or Veeva CRM

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing methodologies and documentation preferred

  • Experience using any of industry standard Agile tooling suites (e.g., Jira), and working knowledge in requirement grooming sessions, Sprint planning, Sprint Retrospective, tasks creation, and collaborating with stakeholders. 


Ideal Candidates should also have: 

  • Prior experience in life sciences, healthcare, or related industry. 

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with a broad matrix team and ability to influence others and achieve results. 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SharePoint, MS Teams, and demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new processes/systems

  • Demonstrated strength in project management and ability to manage numerous project timelines and priorities involving multiple internal/external stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to learn independently and to apply knowledge across all markets / capabilities

  • Experience with operational processes and process improvement

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and in stakeholder management
