As the Associate Director of Strategy & Operations – Law and Compliance Department, you will report to the Executive Director, Strategy & Operations Law and Compliance. In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer and members of the Law Senior Leadership team on executing processes and practices to improve day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the Compliance & Ethics & other teams in the Law Department as needed, facilitate change and help to control costs.


  • Define and drive strategic and operational initiatives with on-time and on-budget results
  • Report on key operational and substantive metrics for the functions and groups that will better inform decision-making, including matter and work product analyses
  • Organize and facilitate functional strategy sessions, track actions and performance against the same
  • Organize functional team meetings, , team building and engagement sessions.
  • Draft communications, training and education
  • Identify and implement tools to streamline new or existing practices, as well as managing design, rollout, and training for new systems
  • Accountable for continual process improvement, reducing inefficient processes and unnecessary work across the department; streamlines to reduce costs where possible.

Required Qualification(s) and Desired Experience:

  • 5 years of demonstrated experience in project management, strategy and operations, consulting; and pharmaceutical experience preferred.
  • Superior verbal and interpersonal communications skills, as well as strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Professional maturity and experience working effectively with executive leadership.
  • Excellent writing and research skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong project management experience, with ability to develop and execute clear action plans.
  • Collaborative leadership style and commitment to developing an organizational culture that seeks different perspectives and embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Proactive, highly motivated self-starter with a high level of intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to engage and persuade a wide variety of audiences.
  • Ability to quickly learn and operate within a complex, fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Superior critical thinking skills and excellent business judgment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
