Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a sales operations team of one ADSO and 7 field AMFOs. An important part of the role is the development of these 8 individuals for future leadership roles in the Company.
  • The development, planning, and execution of the national strategy inclusive of future operational planning (including national, region and district level execution meetings)
  • Leading strategic initiatives specific to the sales force customer model evolution, sales force analytics/planning and processes to drive effectiveness of the Cardiovascular sales organization.
  • The strategic integration between marketing / field sales / matrix and across the organization
  • Works with marketing and sales leadership across the Alliance (Pfizer) to ensure alignment of strategic intent and execution.
  • Supporting the leadership of Cardiovascular sales teams in preparation for executive level presentations to include QBRs, and sales analytic reviews.
  • Being the end-to-end business partner for design through execution of BMS marketing and CxFE solutions (for example: account management, call planning, samples, OneLook)
  • Identifying trends, opportunities and potential business issues, and developing recommendations through support of team and leveraging relevant resources

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience being highly successful across multiple roles, including direct reports (e.g. Sales Training, District Manager, Marketing) with preference for significant experience in working with a field force
  • Experience leading teams with several direct reports with a focus on strong people development
  • Ability to think and communicate strategically
  • Ability to lead within a large matrix organization and influence strategic and tactical decisions
  • Well documented examples of strong leadership, strong compliant execution, and a winning mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on sales objectives with a track record of strong sales performance
  • Experience with Cardiology product customer base and market industry knowledge preferred (but not necessary)
  • Successful experience working with matrix team to accomplish business objectives.
  • Demonstrated experiences partnering with leadership to develop and execute brand strategy
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
