Coordinator of Operations

Under the supervision of the Director of the Center for Leadership and Service, the Coordinator of Operations (Professional Services Specialist 4) is responsible for coordinating daily activities in the Center and for performing basic professional functions using established policies, procedures, precedents and guidelines. The Coordinator assists with the supervision, leadership and oversight of the Center’s student staff and is directly responsible for, in consultation with the Director, developing and implementing comprehensive trainings, coordinating departmental student staff meetings and enforcing established student employee policies and procedures. The Coordinator plays an integral role in the daily operations of the Center and performs related work as required. This position requires travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree and one year of related professional experience is required. Internal applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute full-time related Kean work experience on a year-for-year basis. Candidate must have proven success in working with students, faculty and staff and strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
