What you'll be doing...

As an Advertising Technology and Operations Strategist within Verizon's in-house digital media center of excellence, you will be responsible for the planning and enablement of dynamic creative initiatives across programmatic and paid social channels.

You bring both creative and digital media expertise, having deep, technical understanding of creative production and media execution in the Ad Tech space, more specifically how creative templates and feeds (e.g. GSheet, SFTP) work together alongside media set up that follows best practices. You will support the Verizon Consumer Digital Media team, project managing end-to-end dynamic creative campaign launches and creative refreshes, liaising with Creative teams to ensure assets follow channel best practices and build a test and learn plan. Additionally, you will support the onboarding and scaling of new automation and creative technology that will enable the buying process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering closely with Digital Media and Creative teams to ensure timely launches of campaigns and creative refreshes.
  • Managing creative feeds to guarantee executional excellence and optimal setup that will garner media efficiencies. In order to do this, you'll need to consistently consider creative elements (e.g. character count, text wrapping, margins and layouts that follow brand guidelines, etc.) and media elements (e.g. audience and messaging pairings).
  • Partnering with the Audience and Data leads to apply audience-based rules into DCO feeds.
  • Establishing rigorous QA processes and incorporate automation to expedite processes.
  • Collaborating with Analytics leads to ensure required data cuts and levels of granularity are captured via creative feed and platform campaign set up.
  • Working with DCO partner vendors to identify areas of opportunity and innovation.
  • Be the subject matter expert in all things Ad Tech and understand the business inside out to keep internal teams educated and bring forth relevant and valuable recommendations.
  • Helping vet partners as needed, ensuring offerings solve for needs and that they are scalable.
  • Collaborating with creative agencies, Marketing Activation & Creative, and Marketing Technology teams to incorporate GenAI creative into DCO strategy and execution.
  • Collaborating .com teams to ensure a cohesive E2E UX.

What we're looking for...

You have a passion for how advertising technology can enable executions that deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time, and at scale, leading to media efficiencies and optimal end-to-end user experience.

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of DCO platforms (e.g. Innovid, Smartly, Flashtalking, etc.) and how they integrate with the digital media buying platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g. Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro) ad servers (e.g. CM360, Innovid, etc.), DSPs (e.g. Yahoo!, DV360, Amazon, The Trade Desk), paid social ad managers (e.g. Meta, Snapchat, TikTok).
  • Experience in managing and launching creative according to brand guidelines and following creative and media best practices.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • A degree in marketing or something similar.
  • Digital advertising planning and buying experience.
  • Experience working at a creative agency, in-house creative agency, media agency or in-house media team.
  • Hands on keys media trafficking experience in ad servers (e.g. CM360, Innovid, etc.), DSPs (e.g. Yahoo!, DV360, Amazon, The Trade Desk), paid social ad managers (e.g. Meta, Snapchat, TikTok).
  • Experience in video production.
  • Experience in web advertising and/or marketing design.
  • Hands-on experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g. Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience as an HTML5 developer.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team in a fast changing environment with changing priorities and changing time constraints.
  • Ability to interpret business requests and communicate findings in an intelligible manner.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $89,000.00 and $166,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.
