Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support for broadcast systems as well as support and management of Servers, Network Security and Network Services.
  • Support for transmission systems, be familiar with tall towers, awareness of FCC rules and procedures
  • Assist with LAN and WAN related hardware and software maintenance.
  • Develop knowledge of facility specific IT/broadcast needs and assist in supporting those systems.
  • Apply regular updates to broadcast and IT systems.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or higher in electronics or computer related field.
  • 2 – 4 years of related broadcast experience.
  • A great team-oriented attitude and dedication to quality.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft, Mac and Linux operating systems a plus.
  • Knowledge and competency in broadcast systems, computer system technologies, including installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting problems and responding quickly under pressure.
    Excellent communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Familiarity with Avid related software and hardware products a plus.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule when needed.
  • On-Call duty, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to handle small tools and lift equipment generally less than 50 pounds.
