The Position:

We are looking for a Client Services Specialist to join the advertising team at our Ohio/Great Lakes region. Reporting to the VP/General Sales Manager, this position provides administrative support to the Account Executives, Digital Sales Manager, and General Sales Manager, and coordinates with production and graphics on live broadcasts feature creatives and logos. This role also includes order entry and tracking, reports and communication with agency buyers and assistants, creating presentations and acting as point person for the office. This exciting role provides an opportunity to get immersed in the business of professional sports media.

The Game Plan:
(What you’ll do)

  • Provides sales support by entering new orders, posting orders, resolve discrepancies, and reconciling orders.
  • Uses Wide Orbit software for order entry process. Execution of digital media orders in secondary software interfaces.
  • Interacts directly with the traffic department to ensure orders are entered correctly, spots run correctly with correct copy within the contractual boundaries set by the client.
  • Communicate regularly with buyers, agency assistants, sales managers, and game producers to support sales activities.
  • Participate with sales account executive in lead generation. Create presentations as needed.
  • Assist in the planning, logistics and organization of special clients and team events.
  • Attend games and business socials to host clients and prospects.
  • Interact with our team partners with sponsorships.
  • Serve as the office administrator that includes ordering supplies, managing ticket distribution and reception duties.

The Stats:

  • High school diploma and 2+ years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn other proprietary software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain working relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good organizational skills and a proven ability to work as a member of a team and individually.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Wide Orbit Traffic software experience, a plus.
