Job Description

The Future Talent Program features cooperative (co-op) assignments that last up to 6 months and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

The Co-op program at our Center for Observational and Real-World Evidence (CORE) provides each student with hands-on experience, coaching and mentoring, networking opportunities, and an opportunity to meet their peers from various schools throughout the country.

We are looking for a self-motivated, highly driven student with background in a business, scientific, or operational discipline relevant to the life sciences to join our outcomes research team. Our team is focused on generating real world evidence to support key portfolio strategies such as long-term market access and lifecycle management. The selected student will work closely with the Value Evidence Sub Team (VEST) Leads, members of CORE as well as cross-functional colleagues from: commercial, medical, clinical, policy, market access, country affiliates, to ensure that value evidence initiatives and real-world evidence studies are aligned with business strategies.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in a business, scientific, or operational discipline relevant to the life sciences and enrolled in a co-op program through their college or university.
  • Candidates must be available to work full-time for up to (6) months beginning in Fall of 2021.
  • Candidate resides within the 50 US states (or Washington, DC) during the entirety of the assignment if working remotely.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • In-depth hands-on experience in project management, and basic operation of Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong attention to details, with a quality-focused learning mindset and have strong curiosities about how research in industry supports business decisions.
  • Excited by leveraging new technologies to innovate business processes.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a matrix team of colleagues of different backgrounds.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills that enable personal impact with senior-level decision makers.
