Summary, Focus and Purpose
Under the guidance of a Senior Director, CORE (Center for Observational & Real-world Evidence), the Associate Director, CORE will have the primary responsibilities for interpretation and communication of epidemiological studies and economic modeling and will focus on HCEI and USA Strategy. The position encompasses responsibilities that are aligned with U.S. Market strategy, development, approval, and communication of healthcare economic information (HCEI), and general US strategic for real-world evidence across the portfolio.
You will contribute to evidence generation and marketing strategies to ensure that product value is defined and developed or USA healthcare decision-makers.
Key Functions

In collaboration with outcomes research and economic, data science colleagues, and US payer marketing colleagues, develop concepts and strategy for HCEI
Critically assess drivers and barriers to coverage and reimbursement in the US and identify value evidence and US payer needs to provide strategic input into clinical and market development programs
Develop and evaluate HCEI content and materials, leveraging knowledge of the US payer landscape and our Company medicines and vaccines
Support HCEI process management, metrics development and reporting, and other internal activities
Maintain awareness of scientific and policy developments within their areas of expertise, both in terms of new methodology and new activities to establish communications with key outcomes research opinion leaders
Communicate HCEI to US healthcare decision-makers under the guidelines of FDAMA 114 in collaboration with US customer-facing teams
Education
Required | Master degree in epidemiology, health economics, outcomes research, or pharmacy administration from a recognized school of medicine, public health, pharmacy, or economics
Preferred | Doctoral degree in epidemiology, health economics, outcomes research, or pharmacy administration from a recognized school of medicine, public health, pharmacy, or economics

Required
In-depth understanding of HTA/reimbursement and market access needs in key markets
Principled verbal and written communications
Three plus years relevant experience with PhD or Five plus years relevant experience with Master degree with two years relevant experience post-degree for both | Relevant experience includes the areas of health economics, outcomes research, or related field
Demonstrated expertise in the design and implementation of clinical, epidemiological, or health economic studies
Demonstrated expertise in the fields of outcomes research, health services research, epidemiology, health economics, and/or health technology assessment
Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
Track record of scientific presentations and publications
Knowledge and understanding of FDAMA 114
Preferred
Experience with development and delivery of HCEI materials
Familiarity with legal and regulatory review process for promotional materials

Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
