Summary:

  • Performs a variety of duties related to the production and assembly of hot food. Performs advanced cooking and reheating and cleaning and sanitation as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Production of stock and cream based soups.Advanced knife skills in slicing, chopping.Ability to produce consistent sauces and gravies as required.Advanced roasting, sautéing, and grilling.Ability to process, store and thaw food in compliance with local and federal regulations.Daily sanitation and cleaning of work stations.

Credentials:

  • CFP ServSafe Food Protection (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • And 1+ years Food production experience, preferably in a health care institution Education Specialization:
