Amentum is seeking a Food Services Manager in Andros Island, Bahamas to work as part of a close knit team, as well as independently, to accomplish a range of functions as you support AUTEC. As a member of the team you will:

  • Responsible for the daily operation of facilities that prepare and serve food and beverages.

  • Hire, train, oversee, and sometimes fire employees.

  • Order food and beverages, equipment, and supplies

  • Oversee food preparation, portion sizes, and the overall presentation of food

  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas

  • Ensure that employees comply with health and food safety standards

  • Address complaints regarding food quality or service

  • Schedule staff hours and assign duties

  • Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service


Minimum Requirements

  • Must currently work on existing AUTEC contract in order to be eligible for this position.
  • Must be a U.S citizen.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S government security clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5 or more years of food experience preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Food Managers Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid passport and Driver’s licensed required.
  • Must be able to reside in remote location with limited medical facilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Secret security clearance preferred.
