Reliant Medical Group in Leominster/Worcester has an opening for a full-time Radiology Supervisor. This position oversees Mammography and X-Ray services at our Leominster and Worcester locations, and limited travel between the two will be required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Manager, this role incorporates all the technical and supervisory skills associated with mammography and x-ray.

  • Supervise assigned personnel including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Make recommendations on employee hire, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and other similar actions
  • Perform and document all quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) per DPH, MQSA, and ACR guidelines
  • Responsible for all accreditation and state inspection processes
  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms as needed; perform x-ray exams as needed
  • Maintain daily records on all mammography and x-ray examinations
  • Monitor compliance with recommendations for follow-up studies
  • Maintain pathological results from biopsies
  • Maintain accurate technologist and radiologist credentials
  • Maintain accurate records of performed procedures and mammograms interpreted by radiologists
  • Ensure previous mammography studies from outside facilities are available for radiologist interpretation
  • Maintain and update medical audit analysis in coordination with the lead interpreting physician

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years Mammography experience required
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Must possess a current Massachusetts State (DPH) R.T.(R)(M) license
  • Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Must maintain all required continuing education credits and licensure during employment
  • Must be BLS (Basic Life Support) certified and maintain this certification during employment
  • Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements, and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance
