About the role:

Organon is hiring a Key Account Manager that will be the responsible for all the field activities in Fertility across Switzerland (50%). This role will also oversee the promotion of selected products in Woman health and primary care to key customers in Ticino (30%).

Based on an extensive understanding in the healthcare field, as well as knowledge of customer needs, the Key Account Manager (KAM), in collaboration with the fertility customer/account, is expected to develop the following actions:

Identify main customer needs and communicate these in the cross functional team

Coordinate key projects between Organon and the main fertility centers.

Create business solutions that go beyond drug benefits for mutual benefit.

The KAM is considered the "Owner of the Customer" and works with the team to develop long-term KAM plans per top account and builds sustainable relationships based on mutually agreed upon goals.

Role responsibilities:

Fertility:

  • Understanding the market and analyzing customer needs.
  • In collaboration with the cross functional team, identify market trends and key information in the healthcare environment to drive growth opportunities with/with top customers.
  • Understand the customer's vision, key interests, strengths, weaknesses, and based on this, develop joint actions for mutual benefit.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of existing and emerging needs of the account and assess the implications involving the entire Fertility portfolio.
  • Understand the decision-making process at fertility centers.
  • Using data analytics, new technologies and an omnichannel strategy, the KAM puts the fertility patient in focus and works with the fertility team to tailor sales solutions for our clients in this area.
  • Develop, implement and track an account plan per customer.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key contacts
  • Identify and coordinate the set-up of contracting strategies with key fertility centers

Established brands and Woman health:

  • Proactively promote selected products at gynecologist and GP level in Ticino
  • Identify partnership opportunities supporting the Organon portfolio
  • As part of the cross-functional team, bring customer feedbacks and participate in the set-up of the strategy.

Role requirements:

  • Degree in a scientific or medical field and at least 5 years of work experience in a client facing role.
  • Knowledge in Fertility and / or gynecology preferred
  • Basic knowledge of health policy
  • Business acumen and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Persuasiveness/negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking
  • Project management: ability to manage projects without hierarchical structures. Willingness to work closely with all functions within departments (cross-functional working).
  • Customer oriented
  • Competence in dealing with digital media
  • Good command of German, French and Italian
  • High level of enthusiasm
  • High willingness to leave one's own "comfort zone" to try out new things
  • Strong resilience and persuasiveness in direct customer contact
