What you’ll be doing...

The Account Based Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining a one to one ABM program for three accounts. The ABM Marketing Manager will work within the new Verizon Business Group Global ABM practice and will be focused on delivering a step change in exceptional client engagement for our a) strategic global accounts b) must-win, priority and strategically important deals and c) supporting Field Marketing.

  • Driving behavior through personal impact – presenting, meeting, leading and communicating – as an agent of change in interaction with Sales, customers and partners - elevating the appetite to increase business with Verizon.
  • Aligning the target accounts selection criteria in joint agreement with in-country Field Marketing execution leads and Sales Management.
  • Collaborating with Field Marketing and Sales to develop account based growth strategies, executing specific, prioritized marketing activities to specific contacts on the target accounts as part of a broader nurture/demand generation role.
  • Creating powerful, compelling and relevant content.
  • Mapping communications across demand creation, including any sales enablement tactics with Sales Operations and other Sales Enablement teams towards customer facing specific events/workshops.
  • Owning and being accountable for the KPIs and analyzing, measuring and reporting the impact of the ABM plan for your accounts on the sales funnel, bookings and its translation to revenue.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Account Based Marketing program execution for a global brand or technology company.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience in ABM certified institutions e.g. ITSMA or other industry recognized certifications such as Forrester.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the US market, as well as emerging global trends and issues in the Enterprise segment.
  • Strong grasp of an individual analytical discipline, such as market research or forecasting.
  • Experience in a variety of tools and technologies in execution of the ABM strategy.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity by questioning data and/or stakeholder for further nuanced information.
  • Ability to operate on less than perfect data, by having a sound logical framework.
