With a strong medicines pipeline our current transformation will not just deliver growth for our business but continue to allow us to bring innovative medicines to patients quickly.<br><br>The Marketing Capabilities team is part of the Integrated Marketing Organization (IMO) and supports the delivery of IMO’s vision through enabling Marketing talent with best-in-class learning and devel-opment, processes, tools/frameworks and sharing forums to mobilize excellence in execution.<br><br>Marketing community building, in particular, is a key priority for this role and the organization. Our goal is to establish an organizational culture that enables the cross-pollination of best-in-class approaches ultimately fostering a behavior of learn, try and share to raise the collective bar in Marketing. <br><br>In addition to creating a Community of Practice, this role would support the Executive Director of Mar-keting Skills & Capabilities in bringing to life our ambition to create and leverage world-class Marketing Training Programs that will attract and incubate Top Talent to fuel long term growth. <br>The AD, Marketing Excellence & Community Building will play a leadership role across various initiatives related to Marketing Learning & Development and will liaise with different sub-teams within Inte-grated Marketing (Marketing Strategy, Customer Experience, Content, etc...) as well as with Product, P&O, Finance and Integrated Marketing International (IMI).<br><br>Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<br>• Steward the Marketing Skills and Capability building agenda<br>• Build the vision and manage the content, programming & agenda for the Community of Prac-tice forums, a consortium of Marketing Leaders; leverage this forum to cross-pollinate best practices and solicit feedback for Marketing Excellence strategies, including but not limited to trainings.<br>• Partner with the Marketing Excellence team, cross functional experts and external partners to develop and lead core marketing curriculum and targeted skill development content.<br>• Supplement training and capability enablement by developing corporate toolkits and frame-works and leading workshops to embed new ways of working.<br>• Develop a point-of-view on various marketing capability enhancements coming from the Community of Practice or requested by Marketing Leadership, including areas such process in-terventions, talent development, tools/frameworks, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, etc...<br>• Identify insights and best practices in various topical areas and drive opportunities to cross-fertilize learnings across Brands and Integrated Marketing teams. <br>• Co-create the Integrated Marketing planning process, by collaborating with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Customer Experience, Content, Integrated Marketing International, etc...) to deliver a data-driven approach to planning that is simply, easy to use and customer centric.<br>• Design & implement annual marketing awards to recognize outstanding and effective marketing & behaviors at Novartis; Catalogue & support the entry process for external award submissions.<br><br>Our selection process will prioritize US-based associates whose roles may be changing or may be impacted as a result of the Transforming for Growth reorganization. This is a US based position. No international relocation will be provided for this position.<br><br>This position will be located at the East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely.
