Our Animal Health Marketing Team takes a customer centric perspective using customer feedback and market intelligence data. Using this data, we design, develop and deploy products, platforms, brands and marketing initiatives that ensure we can improve the health and well-being of animals everywhere.

We are seeking a Growth and Improvement minded Parasiticides Strategic Marketing Brand Manager that can help drive our Strategic Operating Priorities.

Summary, Focus and Purpose

The Strategic Marketing Brand Manager is responsible for the parasiticide portfolio of the Companion Animal Business Unit at our company's Animal Health. The successful candidate will provide strategic and implementational marketing for the business unit’s growth category in the largest geographic market. This position will develop and manage brand communication including advertising, trade programs and professional marketing.

Key Functions

  • Be the brand steward for the parasiticide brands of the franchise

  • Implement the development and delivery of the brand's annual marketing/financial plan

  • Drive and implement development of all brand communications and allocation of spending | Work closely with internal partners and outside agencies to understand customer insights and develop the most compelling marketing programs to leverage this knowledge

  • Work closely with sales teams to develop programs to drive sales and market share

  • Gain understanding of the parasiticide market, current and future competitors to develop the strongest potential plans and programs to grow sales and profits into the future

  • Work cross functionally with supply team to manage product supply and forecasting

  • Interface with Global Marketing, R&D and regulatory teams to ensure new product development in the parasiticide category is properly aligned with business commercial requirements

  • Work with other members of the marketing, veterinary and sales teams to prepare for new product launch

** Although this role is a remote position, the incumbent will be required to be in the NJ office ONE WEEK PER MONTH (Monday thru Thursday) to engage with colleagues and other business areas. In addition to travel for other meetings, conferences, etc.**

Education

  • Required | BA/BS degree with six plus years experience in animal health industry, pharma or CPG brand

  • Preferred | MBA
