Purpose

The Marketing Lead will be responsible for the marketing strategy for all brands promoted within the subsidiary and execute brand awareness, improve market share, and manage the marketing budget. The Marketing Lead will collaborate with the Sales Leads, EPA Lead, Key Accounts Lead, Communication Lead, Business Process Lead, Medical Director and Policy Lead to ensure that the organizational patient reach as well as revenue and market share targets are met. The Marketing Lead will deploy innovative strategies that improve engagement with customers and consumers across all channels and all markets, including digital execution. The Marketing Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day management, mentoring, development and oversight of the marketing team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Marketing Lead for Organon brands, including ongoing evolution of messaging and positioning strategy that will accelerate adoption of our products effectively.
  • Focus on ideation and governance of campaigns with a keen focus on enabling synergies between markets, optimizing capabilities and good understanding of markets’ landscape, competitors and new digital trends and evolution.
  • Communicating a strong clinical and economic value proposition and ensuring strategic commercial execution in all channels.
  • Directly manage team of marketing professionals dedicated to our products and partner with Sales, EPA BUD and Key Accounts teams to ensure efficient utilization of shared resources.
  • Partner with Sales leadership and Brand Customer Managers to ensure the field organization is well-trained and well-supported in their efforts to promote our products to our internal and external customer base and encourage appropriate utilization and KPI’s.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure voice of the customer and product feedback is gathered and reviewed to promote ongoing product enhancements and development pipeline.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales and Key Accounts leadership to oversee accurate demand forecasting and supply, sales analytics, revenue projection, and targeting strategy.
  • Lead the team to ensure efficient and high-quality production of marketing materials and sales tools including, but not limited to, web, digital, collateral, apps, video, social, photo and imagery, etc.
  • Partner closely with medical affairs and key opinion leaders to ensure a robust pipeline of publications/presentations and podium presence to evolve our Company's clinical story.
  • Create a strong and consistent brand presence and positioning at key conferences, tradeshows and industry events, including regional events, with a significant emphasis on education.
  • Monitor and disseminate regional market intelligence, including defining counter arguments and sales tools to support in competitive situations.
  • Ensure successful launch preparation and launch execution of new products, as well as line extension SKU’s and any other new offerings.
  • Optimize digital channels to drive regional effectiveness including web presence, optimization of social channels and marketing communication channels.
  • Lead the change to digital engagement by creating a unique strategy and implementation plan that can be rolled out by the sales team.
  • Contribute to communications in partnership with communications team, including press releases, FAQs, and other mediums to ensure both internal and external stakeholders are informed of key activities.
  • Manage marketing budget to ensure best use of funds to support marketing mix.
  • Ensure maximal utilization of the full marketing mix to the benefit of the organisation, and for growth of topline.
  • Stay up to date on current trends in all therapeutic areas, and in particular maternal and child health, and sexual and reproductive health. Recruit and foster relationships with key leaders among OB/GYNs, nurse, and mid-level customers and HCPs
  • Leading the deployment of digital resources while ensuring the value realization.
  • Leading implementation of agile marketing & processes, including capacity planning.
  • Overseeing development and realization of key omni-channel & digital campaigns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing degree and / or , medical science or related field.
  • Master’s degree in business preferred or equivalent field-related experience.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 8 – 10 years previous professional marketing experience with proven experience in marketing planning and execution
  • At least 3 - 5 years previous experience in digital marketing
  • Ability to connect industry and market trends and apply these go-to-market tactics
  • Knowledge of best-practice in growing and engaging clients on digital platforms
  • Leadership mindset and diligent approach to people management
  • 5 years people management experience
  • Inspire a diverse team of marketeers and digital marketeers
  • Outstanding ability to translate strategic thinking into flawless execution, strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain cross-functional partnerships in a rapidly growing organization.
