The Pearson IT Professional Group (ITP) is the leading publisher of learning products for IT professionals. We produce books, ebooks, training videos, practice tests, simulators, digital courseware, and live online training. We sell our products through a variety of channels throughout the world, including traditional book retailers and wholesalers, college adoptions, High School CTE programs, Safari Books Online, and direct to consumers through our six B2C web sites.
This position handles all administrative tasks for a group of six marketing professionals. It involves interaction with many different people in diverse roles, both within Pearson as well as with outside vendors and partners.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Managing the new title presentation and catalogue process for retail reps, including gathering information from editors and writing marketing copy
Working with higher ed reps to promote our products for college adoptions. This includes writing marketing copy, taking care of Instructor Resources, handling sampling of our digital products, and coordinating direct to instructor email promotions.
Managing all department payments, including tracking spending against budget
This position could be located in Pearson's offices in Boston, Hoboken, NJ, or San Francisco.

Bachelor’s Degree required.
This position requires a year or two of administrative experience.
Strong organizational and writing skills are essential for success.
You must be able to work cooperatively with many different people across ITP and across Pearson, as well as with outside partners, but you must also be able to independently plan and manage your time and activities.
Familiarity with basic computer software, such as Windows, Office, email, and Illustrator is required.
