This position is responsible for designing and executing integrated marketing campaigns for Deloitte's US Oil, Gas & Chemicals (OG&C) sector. With energy transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable energy, this sector is going through transformational changes, and we at Deloitte will be there to help guide companies through challenges and help them uncover opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be a marketing professional - with a strong desire to grow in industry knowledge and professional services marketing- with an ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of a matrixed organization.

What you'll do:

As a Marketing Associate in Deloitte Services LP, a subsidiary of the Deloitte US Firms, you will contribute to the growth and development of our organization in a variety of ways, including:

  • Engage Deloitte's internal agency (the Green Dot Agency) in the execution of campaigns; and partner with the agency on the delivery of campaigns
  • Serve as a liaison between key stakeholders, including leadership and other areas of the US OG&C team and the larger firm (e.g. Green Dot Agency, cross-functional teams, global and marketplace marketing, etc.)
  • Bring innovative thinking to all marketing and communications activities
  • Manage marketing calendar, including major campaigns, offering launches, thought leadership promotions, events, and core marketing and communications activities
  • Plan and manage marketing budgets for campaigns
  • Identify Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics and analyze the performance and success of campaigns
  • Collaborate with PR team to drive media coverage where applicable
  • Collaborate with Deloitte Insights team to develop thought leadership content that aligns with business priorities
  • Design and execute on go-to-market strategies for internal and external distribution of thought leadership
  • Support the annual marketing planning process

The team:

OG&C is part of the Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I) industry that also includes Power, Utilities & Renewables (PU&R) and Industrial Products and Construction (IP&C). You will work closely with the lead marketing strategist for OG&C and will also collaborate with the other marketers across the ER&I industry, businesses and global.

Required:
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing and communications strategy and planning
  • Undergraduate degree, ideally with a focus in marketing
  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing and communications strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results
  • Previous experience in B2B marketing
  • Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
  • Deep understanding of social and digital tools
  • Travel up to 10% (while travel of up to 10% is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Desired:
  • Experience in Oil, Gas and/or Chemicals industries
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment
  • MBA a plus
  • Houston-area candidates preferred
