We are looking for a driven, results oriented, digitally savvy individual with a proven track record of university leadership to assist in the management of key Global Companion Animal brand marketing projects. The individual will report to the Associate Director but also assist in the management of key projects for the Director. The projects help drive growth for our dog and cat parasite protection products across the world by strengthening our understanding of and communication to key stakeholders. These include internal marketing and sales teams, our vet and clinic partners and their staff and the pet owners.

Primary Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Lead artwork approval process. This includes thoroughly reviewing and uploading marketing materials, designating approving team members, tracking progress and ensuring timely review/approval /certification.

  • Liaise with creative agencies to enable optimization of marketing materials.

  • Assist in key marketing meeting planning: scheduling, location scouting, agenda creation and dissemination, attendee communications, etc.

  • Support marketing team on key projects (e.g., setting up research, providing and editing social media marketing content, communication with countries across the world).

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Candidates must be pursuing BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Communications or English, students pursuing a graduate degree is preferred

  • Candidates must have critical thinking skills to carry out instructions and make decisions within scope of authority

  • Candidates must have problem solving skills involving several variables

  • Candidates must have ability to follow policies and procedures and be an active member of a team

  • Candidates must be proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

  • Candidates must have excellent English communication skills, oral and written. Ability to adapt communication to international audiences

  • Candidates must have positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Candidates should have previous experience working in:

    • a multinational and/or corporate business setting

    • consumer or professional marketing, PR or advertising

  • Candidates should have leadership roles during college

  • Candidates should have a love and passion for animals is a plus
