Job Description

The Digital Marketing Solutions team part of the Global Animal Health IT team is looking for a Mobile App technical lead to join the DMS team. Responsibilities include managing the release of all internal and external iPhone and Android applications. Reporting and analytics lead for over 50+ mobile apps. Serve as the Digital Marketing Technical consultant to digital agencies helping them troubleshoot and resolve issues. Ensures that all mobile app’s meet our company's compliance and technical requirements.

Additional Mobile app responsibilities include the below items.

Managing the release of all iPhone and Android App releases (both internally to our company's app store and external Apple and Android Store). This includes:

  • Management and organization of app source code in the appropriate storage repository service bit bucket.

  • Control the user rights of agencies having access to deposit app source code in BitBucket.

  • Responsible to work with agencies on code submission to Data Theorem Code Scanning tool.

  • Compiling apps for testing on approved UAT testing platforms such as Hockey App

  • Management of Digital Marketing Services Enterprise ITunes Connect and Google Play accounts. This includes creating listings for each app, submitting compiled apps for review by Apple & Google, and functioning as the liaison with Apple and Google on issues.

  • Liaison to mobility team for release and management of any internal application to our company's app store.

  • Ensuring apps meet compliance, branding, and security reviews prior to release.

  • Retiring of applications that are no longer in use.

  • Keeping our web universe listings of apps updated.



Responsible for managing the App Analytics and Reporting for over 50+ apps. This includes:

  • Setting up tracking IDs to be used in apps

  • Setting up automatic dashboard Google Firebase reporting for app owners

  • Run customized reports as-need for certain time periods

Technical Consultant to App Developers.

  • This includes supporting agencies on troubleshooting development issues that may occur.

  • Advise and recommend solutions for code scanning issues that come up during the HP Fortify on demand code review process.

  • Provides input to agency partners on the implementation of best practices methodology throughout the development lifecycle

  • Consult agencies on technical questions about the types of technologies we accept. This resource will work with an agency’s app developers to clarify some of these questions.

  • Knowledge of following developer languages which include: Xamarin, Twixl, HTML5, X-Code, .Net, Objective C, C+, C++, C#, CocoaPods, SWIFT, Flutter, React Native, IONIC. Working knowledge of API’s and WebServices technologies and methodologies.

Team collaborator for process improvements, including assessment of current mobile app governance model and looking for opportunities for enhancements. Contribute on overall strategy for management of the mobile portfolio.

Assist in implementing maintenance program for all in-scope mobile apps, including on-going support.

Manage mobile app certification program for agencies, including technical triage and feedback, performance scoring and overall evaluation.
