Commercial Reservation Sales Representative (Call Center) - Telecommute

**Description:****Position Summary:**In the Commercial Reservations Sales Representative role, we supply commercial truck fleets to some of the largest organizations in the world. We currently seek outgoing, customer focused individuals to become the single point of contact for some of our largest established National Rental Accounts across the country. Youll be part of a dedicated team who will provide a fast, friendly reservation process for our customers. Every phone call you answer is an opportunity to keep product moving to meet deadlines, keep houses being built, food delivered to grocery stores, medicine delivered to hospitals and packages delivered on time! We provide top of the line equipment at the best price possible all while providing a legendary customer experience!In this role, youll leverage your customer service, problem solving, and negotiation skills to ensure we take care of our largest customers. Youll collaborate with other Penske team members within the corporate office and across our 2,200 rental facilities nationwide. Your daily responsibilities will be to help our customers find rental trucks, alleviate customer service issues and make decisions that help Penske now and in the future. You will be provided developmental skills to grow in your career.**This Position Offers You:**+ Hourly Pay Plus Uncapped Commission+ Weekly Pay+ Telecommute from the comfort of your home+ Incentive based contests+ Daily virtual engagement with chat, meetings and more with your Leadership team and peers using Microsoft Teams**Responsibilities:**+ Handle a high volume of inbound calls daily to provide solutions+ Provide excellent customer service+ Dedication to meet and exceed customer expectations+ Ability to navigate and use multiple computer programs at once+ Willingness to incorporate feedback to constantly improve performance**Training:**+ Two-week, virtual classroom paid training**Schedule:**+ We are here to help our customers and are open 7 days a week, Monday through Friday 6:00AM-10:00PM (EST) and Saturday/Sunday 8:00AM-4:00PM (closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas). We are looking for associates who would be available for shifts that end at 10PM (EST)+ We need you to work a weekend day as part of your regular schedule. If you want to work both thats great!+ In this role we do two shift bids a year. Schedule selected is based on seniority**Technical Requirements:**+ Must have the ability to work from home in a quiet space free from distractions+ Must have reliable and consistent, high-speed internet access provided by a cable or fiber provider (no DSL, satellite or wireless)+ Minimum upload speed of 3mbps and minimum download speed of 5mbps+ Use of wireless, hotspot or WiFi "air cards" are prohibited+ Smartphone; app used as part of remote log in process+ Chromebooks and Tablets are not supported**Qualifications:****Qualifications:**+ High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred+ Excellent customer service and sales skills required+ 1 year of customer service experience required+ 2 years of proven successful sales experience highly preferred+ Previous call center or telemarketing experience preferred+ Proficiency with computers required+ Salesforce software experience preferred+ Must be flexible to work non-traditional hours: holidays, nights and weekends+ Strong interpersonal and telephone etiquette skills, and the ability to build rapport with customers+ Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills as youll be handing inbound and outbound calls from multiple sources some of which are the largest customers in the world.+ Ability to type, listen and think of an appropriate solution to your customer's needs all while keeping up a lively verbal exchange.+ Provide a legendary experience for all customers by connecting and providing solutions+ Basic math, logic, geography and problem solving skills as well as the ability to follow specific instructions are also required+ Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job+ Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.**Physical Requirements:**- The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
