Job Description

Our Marketing team are passionate about bringing our medicines and vaccines to our customers around the world. Through digital listening and patient analytics, we are able to understand our customers’ needs and strive to provide solutions to meet them.

Primary Responsibilities:

A key member of the Digital Engagement Team, responsible for applying the SCRUM framework and AGILE principles to develop the digital marketing channel engagement strategy for their assigned brand (will train on AGILE).

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (third-party channel vendors) and agency media partners to communicate the engagement strategy, build media/activation plans and ensure proper implementation. Owns media plan and optimizations.

  • In addition to setting digital activation strategy, work with marketing to understand their higher-level objectives and key results on a quarterly basis and build and/or optimize engagement plans to best meet brand marketing goals.

  • Owns measurement plan, Works with internal partners in the identification of proper KPIs, and the digital engagement measurement strategy & plan.

  • Depending on the analytics necessary to deliver on the plan, this individual is responsible to either work directly within systems/tools to pull or analyze the data or work with support groups to have those reports and insights provided.

  • Perform in-depth analyses of customer level engagement and other data sets across several channels to discover insights and make recommendations and decisions about channel and tactical choices, both in-flight and for next campaign.

  • Oversee up to two digital engagement teams (with support of second engagement architect on second DET).

  • Communicate the engagement analytics & measurement plan to ensure that assets, partners, and systems are in place upstream in order deliver the necessary data to measure plan.

  • Participate in the Architect Chapter and “Community of Practice” to share learnings and best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes & tools and champion the change to help the organization continue to evolve and transform.

Education Minimum Requirements:

  • Required: Associates Degree.

  • Desired: BA/BS.

  • Preferred: MBA/MS.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years multi-channel marketing and digital media (HCP and/or Consumer) campaign development experience with an emphasis on both using data and digital media strategy, to optimize overall customer experience to drive business results.

  • Passion for data and analytics. Strong ability to mine for insights and deliver implications and socialize key insights through persuasive story-telling that brings meaningful and actionable context to drive more data-informed decision making.

  • Strong knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to align marketing strategy and customer behavior change objectives to tactical campaign design across multiple dimensions (customer, channel, content, cadence).

  • Demonstrated change management skills with ability to lead, advocate, influence, and collaborate across various functions at all levels.

  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate complex and technical concepts clearly and concisely to broad audiences.

  • Innovative mindset with affinity toward experimentation and appropriate risk taking.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects/solutions with hands-on, detail-oriented approach.

  • Able to work effectively in a close team environment, resolve conflict independently and collaborate with others to drive team successes.

  • Well-rounded skill set that demonstrates ability to think at high strategic levels, build media/engagement plans, set measurement and optimization plans, and make data-based recommendations for enhancements and innovations.

  • As needed, ability to manage additional digital media related responsibilities for Architect Chapter.

  • As needed, ability to manage direct report/contractors now, or in the future (depends on team and assignment).

  • As needed, ability to think and manage at brand franchise or portfolio level, overseeing two digital engagement teams and prioritizing key initiatives/plans to drive franchise level results (with support on second team).

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience within Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.

  • Experience with advanced marketing capabilities (i.e., marketing automation, campaign management, analytics platforms, sales force tools, call center capabilities, recommendation engines, etc.).

  • Experience with Agile Team methodology.

  • Understanding of compliance-related concepts that govern pharmaceutical marketing and sales activities.

Work Location(s):

Hybrid work arrangement with 3 days per week in Upper Gwynedd, PA office expected.
