What you will do:
The Marketing Communications Lead – Projects and Events is a highly organized and detail-oriented team player who is driven to help plan and execute successful marketing projects, events, and conferences. He or she will be responsible for leading the coordination and completion of marketing and trade show initiatives. This individual will communicate with respective teams to help ensure projects are on track and fully supported.
Responsibilities:
- Own project workflow process for marketing Communication team including assigning individual responsibilities and developing schedules to ensure team is tracking and timely completion of project.
- Help lead specific project deliverables from inception to completion.
- Assist in campaign creative brief development with input from key stakeholders.
- Track and report campaign metrics
- Proven experience using a project management system such as Basecamp
- Must be proactive, take initiative and own project plan details.
- Communicate project updates to manager and greater Marketing Communications team on a weekly basis.
- Coordinate logistics of tradeshow program. This includes Marketing, Corporate Accounts, Canada and various Stryker division collaborative and stand-alone events.
- Responsible for tending to all pre-show logistics including hotel accommodations, apparel, event activities, pre-show training guides, among others.
- Own and maintain tradeshow calendar and master budget.
- Own onsite coordination/set up. Travel required.
- Work with vendors and Stryker counterparts to develop booth layouts to ensure correct product placement and position Stryker Sage for success in shared trade show spaces.
- Create campaigns in salesforce.com to track and report post-show ROI. Input leads, communicate with sales and sales management to maximize lead follow-up and results.
- Coordinate with brand manager to produce post-show reports.
- Delivers high quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to build partnership to achieve business objectives.
- Maintains compliance with approval procedures and documentation.
- 100% SLMS completion.
- Uphold Stryker branding guidelines
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related discipline required
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated project management experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines.
- Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Knowledge in Basecamp or similar project management system.
