The Medicare & Retirement Regulatory Account Management Manager leads a team of compliance professionals responsible for performing independent tasks in line with a consistent process in order to provide effective management of regulator requests for information and standing contractual requirement compliance oversight across the enterprise. The Manager collaborates with Compliance partners and business owners to ensure accurate and timely responses to our State and Federal Partners. This position is responsible for providing tracking and oversight for Medicare & Retirement.
The Medicare & Retirement Regulatory Account Management Manager is also responsible for leading the coordination of the Medicare & Retirement Business Priorities initiatives.

- Work with Chief Compliance Officer to develop strategy for development and execution of meeting and communication plans for engagement with State and Federal partners that supports the Medicare & Retirement initiatives
- Coordinate with compliance and business partners to draft agendas for monthly meetings with account managers and for bi-annual leadership meetings
- Act as liaison with State and Federal partners
- Respond to deliverable requests for all segments
- Coordinate with compliance partners to determine programmatic metrics for State partners
- Coach and mentor team members via both formal and informal performance reviews/evaluations

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in a health care regulatory or compliance environment
- Intermediate or advanced skill level with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Advanced degree related to business, organizational leadership, healthcare administration, public relations or compliance
- CHC certification
- Direct supervisory experience

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
