What you'll be doing...

The Marketing Print Consultant will be responsible for supporting all aspects of printed production and delivery of Direct Mail and Shared Mail marketing programs. In this role you will work with Campaign Managers, Creative Teams, Sourcing, Printers, Database Marketing, Freight Carriers, and the USPS for multiple projects simultaneously from planning to completion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with Verizon sourcing to procure print estimates and competitive bids for printed marketing programs by providing printed material specifications.
  • Serving as Verizon contact to print, freight and postal vendors to ensure on time flawless execution of direct mail and shared mail marketing programs.
  • Tracking print expenditures and facilitate all related vendor invoices for billing reconciliation.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective cross-functional business partnerships across all levels of the organization, vendors and agencies.
  • Actively seek customer, client and partner needs, and create appropriate solutions.
  • Independently test business processes and recommend improvements for print program management.
  • Monitoring and evaluating vendor performance through production reviews and vendor site visits.
  • Providing sound recommendations to address potential risks.
  • Assisting in problem identification and resolution.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working directly with printers and USPS managing the production and delivery of Direct Mail programs.
  • Experience and working knowledge of USPS systems, processes, and promotions.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Knowledge of paper specifications used in Direct Mail and Shared Mail.
  • Flexibility to take on new projects and assignments when tasked.
  • High energy, self-motivated.
