Position Summary:

A strong marketer and aspiring leader with a proven track record of strategic thinking and outstanding customer focus to lead HCP Promotions for Zeposia in Multiple Sclerosis. This brand is a key pillar in the growing BMS Immunology and Fibrosis portfolio.

The Director of HCP Marketing will drive promotional activities to healthcare practitioners, leading key commercial projects from strategy through execution. This role will collaborate with cross-functional leaders across Sales, Training, Medical, VAP, Business Insights & Analytics, Digital Hub and Customer Engagement Center to ensure robust planning and strong strategic execution to drive brand growth.

Additionally, this individual will have one direct report and will play an integral role in the identification and hiring of key talent across the US Commercial team. We are looking for a dynamic, performance-driven leader who cultivates a team-based, collaborative, customer/externally focused environment which promotes candor, innovation and appropriate risk taking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively analyze customer insights, brand performance, market trends, & competitive response to inform strategic planning which addresses key challenges and capitalizes on prioritized business opportunities

  • Refine strategy and messaging based on customer insights and new data publications, including the upcoming 6-year open label extension data in Q4

  • Provide commercial input on cross-matrix activities, ensuring consistent, on-strategy execution within each function. This individual will guide key workstreams critical to successful promotion across Digital Hub, Customer Engagement Center, Access & Reimbursement, Medical and Sales/Sales Training

  • Collaborate with Market Research to identify and leverage deep, actionable customer insights

  • Partner with Customer Engagement Center to optimize Marketing Mix & Channel Selection

  • Work closely with Worldwide Commercial to ensure consistent, synergistic messaging and execution across the brand

  • Foster strong collaborative working relationships with external and internal customers

  • Develop and deliver strategy and performance presentations to Leadership Teams

  • Partner with AOR and provide clear expectations, guidance and feedback to agency, ensuring rigor in marketing excellence and exceptional execution of key tactics and deliverables

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BS/BA degree required. MBA preferred

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of pharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 4 years of marketing experience

  • Multiple Sclerosis experience is preferred but not required; Immunology experience is a plus

  • Proven track record of leading and being the champion of commercial strategy

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and connect interrelated activities across the matrix to deliver impactful results. The ability to identify commercial gaps and engage necessary stakeholders to assess strategic value will be critical for the successful candidate to demonstrate

  • Ability to develop and manage strong customer relationships

  • Highly skilled in translating insights into sound marketing actions and business recommendations

  • Strong ability to effectively drive performance within a matrix organization with exceptional organizational, interpersonal communication skills and executive collaboration required

  • Competencies include Strategic Brand Planning, Access and Reimbursement, Influencing and Negotiating skills, Market Analytics, Customer and Competitive Insights, Brand and Positioning Management and Decision-Making Skills
