Manager -Sales Engineering

What You’ll Do: As a Sales Engineering Manager SMB, you will lead and inspire a team of SMB Sales Engineers who provide direct support to the SMB Care organization. This team functions as subject matter experts of Windstream products and services, with the primary role of educating both Windstream representatives and prospective business customers. It is imperative that this leader be well versed in all Windstream products and services to effectively coach others in supporting SMB care with proposal generation for all complex Windstream designs. Do you Have: - Experience leading and motivating a team to foster teamwork and exceptional cross-collaboration. - Ability to ensure the team accurately provides and documents technical requirements of services to be provided to customers and assists internal and external vendors on recommended cutovers. - Ability to engage customers in a consultative manner to understand the technical and business challenges facing our prospective and current customers.  - Collaboration skills to work with other sectors of the business in pre-installation support and order accuracy. - Experience leading and motivating a team to foster teamwork and exceptional collaboration skills. - Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. - Ability to analyze and solve problems. - Outstanding time management and organizational skills.  - Ability to work flexible hours at different stores within a geographic area, as well as to travel and work sales events as needed. - College degree and 4-6 years job related experience (outside, customer service, direct or retail sales leadership); or 8+ years equivalent related experience; or a combination of education and related experience required.
