Enterprise Architect - Sports and Major Events - Location Open
The Team
Deloitte is building the future business and technology backbone for biennial international sporting events and other major events. We have an established and growing team around the globe already dedicated to building and running the delivery and overall experience of these events. This is an unprecedented opportunity that will strategically and methodically transform some of the largest, most operationally complex events in the world and inspire a new generation of leaders to create positive change through sport. We are building a team to design and build a foundation that preserves stability and consistent delivery while also facilitating scalable innovation for future events.
Work You'll Do/Responsibilities
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for assisting the CTO and the Lead Enterprise Architect with the broad solution design of the international sport event technology ecosystem. Help establish, facilitate, and drive cross-company architecture committees
Create key architecture design documents
Help supervise a small team but wield broad influence across technology domains to include infrastructure, network, cloud, applications, security, and operations.
Can straddle the business/technology divide as a true enterprise architect, but is an applied scientist not a theoretical one

Role will require the ability to influence other technologists that are not part of the core team (e.g., governing bodies and service providers)
This role will work across countries, Deloitte Member Firms, and in collaboration with our Third-Party Partners
Qualifications
Requirements
7+ years of technology leadership experience in enterprise architecture, engineering, technical architecture, application development and mission-critical systems
