Work you'll do:

The Government and Public Services (GPS) Marketing Manager will establish the methodology and strategy for how Marketing supports large government pursuits (>$400M), targeting key government and public services buyer personas. This role will collaborate closely with the GPS leaders and Pursuit Center of Excellence to develop pursuit strategy and increase client understanding of Deloitte's capabilities and eminence through hyper-customized messaging to government and public services buyers and influencers to increase win rate and grow revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive demand generation during the pursuit and business development process for GPS's largest, most strategic pursuits. Capitalize on the long procurement cycle to identify, score and nurture leads, develop client-customized content for key buyers, and lead demand-gen campaigns.
  • Work with pursuit teams to develop and articulate value proposition and pursuit strategy
  • Execute digital and social media marketing campaigns and activities to nurture and accelerate opportunities from interest to closed deals
  • Research and identify ways to personalize and customize campaigns
  • Develop and institutionalize Marketing support for GPS's largest, most strategic pursuits. Determine engagement during pursuit lifecycle (18+ months top priority deals to final client buying decision)
  • Measure impact of marketing on large, strategic deals. Gather ROI data and inputs data into standard reports, focusing on data accuracy, storytelling, outcomes, etc.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years working with government and public services clients
  • Experience developing strategies for reaching a diverse audience of leadership personas in the government and public services space
  • Experienced understanding of marketing and communications practices and technology to support pursuit and business development activities. Able to take a holistic view across GPS portfolios to curate relevant content and experiences for targeted buyers and audiences
  • Ability to effectively communicate with account leaders, proposal leaders, proposal authors, and Business Development personnel
  • Experience with drafting different types of content spanning POVs, client success stories, video scripts/story boards content, develop and edit content and collateral material and refreshing website content for consistent messaging and clear voice
  • Experience with digital marketing concepts spanning advertising, SEO, website development and design concepts, digital marketing techniques, including audience segmentation, and persona-based campaigns
  • Demonstrated creation and implementation of comprehensive social media plans for organic and paid social campaigns
  • Experience with impact reporting including gathering ROI data and inputs data into standard reports, focusing on data accuracy, storytelling, outcomes, measurement, etc.
  • Experience with marketing technology and innovation to drive and enhance campaign deliverables
