Our Kinetic Business unit focuses on sales and retention initiatives in the local markets where our teams live and serve within their ILEC communities. Job Responsibilities: - Creates and implements personal business and go-to-market plans focused on the team and individual goals to meet and exceed assigned monthly quotas. - The manager is an established leader highly engaged with the local sales team. They deeply understand the sales process and greatly influence deals through 1:1 coaching, ride-along to customer appointments, and planning or account strategy sessions with sales representatives. - The primary focus is to drive their assigned small business sales professionals to achieve greater than quota and 100% of the forecast. Using the Value Axiomof the Four Cs: Connectivity, Collaboration, Continuity, Cyber Security, the Sales Manager will provide training, participate in field sales activity, office consistent coaching, and issue feedback. - Scope of account focus is primarily < $7,500 monthly revenue billing for small/medium-sized business accounts. - Manages and guides direct sales activities of the sales representatives. In addition, directs their monthly and weekly activities related to their respective group of assigned accounts and new logo targets. - Ensures reps complete daily and weekly tasks to fulfill their "Personal Business Plan" and achieve quota. (if needed takes take corrective action). - Drives reps to consistently achieve above-quota performance. - Conducts weekly and bi-weekly 1:1s with every sales representative to review activities and set targets on established KPIs such as calls logged, appointments conducted, new opportunities created, proposals delivered, new revenue added to the pipeline, and more. - Review and approve team member travel, entertainment, mileage, and general expense reimbursement submissions. - Maintain a fully/overstaffed sales steam through weekly hiring activities: coordinate with internal and 3rd party resources to source top talent, conduct interviews weekly, create the appropriate requisitions, and align with Sales Director Regional Strategy to hire the top number of necessary sales professionals. Job Specifications: - Strong written, communication, and presentation skills are required to compose proposals, and routine letters, present proposals, and maintain influential relationships at all levels of the organization. - Up to 50% travel. - Thorough knowledge of telecommunication products and services is required, and innovative problem-solving skills to influence the sale and diffuse potential customer problems.
