More about us https://www.eaton.comSales Engineer (Industrial Control Products)location: NorwaySignificant contributor in development product sales ( Industrial Control Products/ICPD ) in Norway in close dialog with Business Unit, Market and Sales. This role will take responsibility for developing the sales in the OEM segment direct and thru the EWS channel with focus on installers, machine builders, MOEMs. contractors, and EOEMs. Sales of components, solutions and projects. Support other sales teams in the region with competence in solutions sales. The position is also responsible for working effectively with product experts and segment managers in the business units for the purpose to develop the business.Your key deliverables:Analysis of market, trends, changing regulations, and customer needs in order to prioritize best opportunities for industry sales. Build and maintain relations with important internal and external industry influencers and experts. Work close to relevant BUs and Marketing.Negotiate and ensure influence at all customer levels resulting in contracts and commercial agreements in line with organizational procedures. Ensure collaborations in sales activities within Eaton, resulting in synergy sales and new business.Attention to detail and product focus will assist in delivering business growth, which will be underpinned by a drive to succeed in salesTenacity in meeting customer requirements together with an ability to influence both internally and externally to deliver an excellent service.Work effectively with local Sales team to ensure close communication and success in effective transactional duties.Ensures that the highest level of safety standards are implemented and aligned with MESH; Eatons Zero Incident Safety Culture as well as National guidelines and procedures.Deals with customer disputes, complaints and quotes professionally.The position also has a requirement for suggesting innovative ideas, to constantly keep the team moving forward, ahead of the market, ensuring maximum turnover and profit.Supports marketing and marcom efforts to ensure success stories captured and available across the wider organization and to Eaton customers as appropriate.Achieves set sales targets and set margin levelsEnsure the support of growth within the region in the market for commercial buildings and Industry based on Eaton solutions and thru Eaton partnersContinuously monitor and improve the conversion rate of quotes to orders for the region.Responsible for maintaining the good level of sales with existing key accounts within the areaResponsible for achievement of economic, quality and customer service. QualificationsWhat we are looking for:+ Successful sales background+ Motivation and organization with accuracy and attention to detail+ Education on Bsc level with experience from industry and/or industry products.+ Must have track record of success in selling projects that require nurturing and dealing with complex customers and product sales.+ Good understanding of Industry markets and products.+ Must have a broad understanding of sales processes, strategies and project management.+ Ability to influence decision making of key stakeholders.+ Intercultural awareness.+ Must be approachable and able to communicate at all levels in an effective clear manner.+ Proficiency in English and Norwegian language.Good to have:+ Understands and exercises value selling methods. Able to pull through or identify leads for Eatons full product offering.+ Able to work well across organizations. This includes both for accelerated organizational learning as well as mutual support for customers who operate in multiple regions.+ Travel circa 20 % of time.+ Strongly desirable:+ Proven track record of achieving business success with panel builders and developers and owners of commercial buildings incl consultants.+ Understanding of market.
