What you will do

  • Use competitive insights to improve communication strategy and messaging
  • Turn value proposition into a strong message for all customer segments
  • Write and communicate key documents: business reviews, marketing strategies, proposals, and recommendations
  • Create marketing communication strategies to understand, develop, and enhance the relationship between the customer and the product or portfolio
  • Lead the development and execution of the Commercialization Plan for launches and the Annual Marketing Plan
  • Evaluate and adjust planned communications activities to maximize effectiveness and budget
  • Provide clear, strategic, and prioritized communication to the field sales organization through written communications, presentations, and informal interactions
  • Leverage customer data and provide customized communication support or solutions
  • Lead, develop and execute communication strategies that drive the strategic plan for the product and/or portfolio
  • Leverage existing marketing channel strategies, initiate new channels, and make strategic channel decisions based upon ROI while tracking the impact
  • Collaborate on writing projects with varying levels of associates and management
  • Support experimentation and accept occasional setbacks or failures
  • Communicate well downward, upward, and outward
  • Employ appropriate methods of persuasion when soliciting agreement
  • Deliver formal and informal stand-up presentations or demos to audiences of all kinds
  • Experiment with new and innovative concepts and design principles to maximize impact
  • Implement different design media, formats, graphics, and presentation tools
  • Develop and design internal publications and event promotions
  • Organize and coordinate internal communication functions and meetings
  • Develop effective KPI strategies for the business and use appropriate measurements tools to drive improvement in future plans
  • Create, own and manage show calendar and master budget. Responsible for post-show recaps and share-out's. Oversee all onsite coordination of events.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of work experience required
  • 5+ years medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
  • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

$81,300 - $173,300 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
