Marketing Coordinator- Paid Social

What Will You Do?

The Paid Social Specialist is responsible for the daily execution and optimization of digital media advertising accounts. This role takes the strategy and vision of the managers, directors and executive teams and helps to bring it to life in the day to day through managing digital marketing campaigns and paid advertising on social media. This role provides full-service execution of paid social campaigns including, competitor research, audience and targeting recommendations, account management, optimization, and reporting. The specialist works to optimize the media spend allocated for each digital account to ensure the greatest return on effort and alignment with business goals. Works directly with the Performance Marketing Manager to align on strategies and to pivot effort towards business needs. Collaborates with internal teams and external vendors on campaign planning, execution, and post-campaign evaluation.

  • Work directly with the Performance Marketing Manager to understand and execute the overall objectives of the social media team and the greater marketing teams.
  • Help to strategize marketing plans for social media, brand marketing, local store strategy, ecommerce strategy, partnerships, and national campaigns.
  • Assist in executing new opportunities, new platforms, emerging media, and new lead generation as decided upon by the marketing and executive teams.
  • In collaboration with the organic team and other teams, execute scalable multi-touch programs and campaigns that span not only online but also offline channels.
  • Conducts research and analyses in order to deliver reports to the senior management on the performance of marketing campaigns and programs as well as conducting forecasting and estimations of marketing efforts.
  • Execute and manage execution of our national paid social media strategy and campaigns in partnership with both cross-functional and external agency teams. Iterate accordingly with a focus on data and testing.
  • Work and collaborate as directed with other department teams, i.e. merchandising, email, product development and Public Relations to assist in supporting larger company objectives.
  • Work to achieve social media key performance indicators that allign with overall company goals. Optimizes targeting and segmentation, as well as the allocation of budgets across multiple paid social channels under the direction of senior team members and managers.
  • Assist in managing the determined paid media budget and account for proper spend against overall goals.
  • Actively participates in the support and development of new ideas.

What Do You Need?

  • 1-3 years’ experience in digital marketing, social media, and/or content marketing role.
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information or Web-Based Technology or any other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Facebook Blueprint Certification required within the first-year employment.
  • Tendency to think out of the box.
