Summary:

The Associate Director will support the development of the HCP marketing launch plan for deucravacitinib in psoriasis (PsO). Specifically, this individual will support the development of our PsO launch readiness plan and lead key launch deliverables, in addition to developing an engagement strategy for bio-coordinators and the tactical plans and HCP resources around our patient support offerings. The ideal candidate would have previous HCP marketing experience, strong critical thinking skills, experience in developing customer engagement plans and strong leadership and communication skills to effectively influence and lead a broad cross-matrix team. Prior experience/deep working knowledge of customer support programs or previous dermatology experience is a plus.

You will be working on Deucravacitinib, which is a first-in-class, oral, selective TYK2 inhibitor – has a current PDUFA of September 2022 for the treatment of adults with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. It is also in clinical studies across multiple immune-mediated diseases, including psoriatic arthritis, crohn’s disease and lupus. This asset is anticipated to be a blockbuster drug and will be a leading asset for BMS’ Immunology & Fibrosis portfolio, representing a return for BMS in the dermatology space.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead or support the development of key launch HCP workstreams and tactics

  • Lead and foster collaboration with cross-matrix partners (patient access services, payer marketing, patient marketing, field reimbursement team, regulatory, legal) to develop a comprehensive, best-in-class Customer Support Program to ensure a seamless customer experience at launch

  • Align key workstreams and internal stakeholders to ensure simple and clear messaging and solutions delivered to HCPs (derms, NP/PA, bio coordinators, office managers) at critical pain points of customer journey

  • Shape and oversee market research to extract key, actionable customer insights

  • Lead the development of HCP promotional strategy and materials on access/patient services

  • Create and execute a comprehensive bio coordinator engagement strategy across personal/non-personal

  • Coordinate with broader HCP marketing team to create “brand playbook” that establishes the BMS culture on patient-centered superior customer experience

  • Effectively engage the sales force and field reimbursement team to reinforce strategy, solicit feedback and support field requests

  • Manage agency and other vendors in development of promotional materials and tactics

Skills/Experience Required:

  • BA degree of equivalent is required

  • 3-5 years of relevant marketing brand management experience or equivalent (experience in dermatology/immunology is preferred but not necessary)

  • Demonstrated success in commercial roles and strong ability to engage key internal and external stakeholders

  • Prior experience or strong working knowledge of patient services preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to story-tell, strong presentation skills and adjusting communication style based on audience is a must

  • Experience working with and leading multi-functional teams to accomplish specific objectives and goals

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate internal review (PReP) processes

  • Experience in managing external resources and partners, including advertising agencies

  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing primary and secondary market research

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills

  • Comfort with and ability to comprehend and discuss clinical data

  • An independent thinker and someone that can triage and problem-solve, while showcasing effective decision-making
