Job Description

Attention NJ Applicants: In April 2020, our Company announced plans to consolidate our New Jersey campuses into a single New Jersey headquarters location in Rahway, NJ by 2023. Therefore, the NJ work location for this role will be temporarily based and the exact timing of the departmental move to Rahway, NJ will be communicated at a future date.

Our Animal Health Marketing team takes a customer centric perspective using customer feedback and market intelligence data. The function on Global Marketing Associated Director, Parasite Control and Reproduction is part of the Global Ruminant Marketing Unit and reports to the Global Marketing Director, Parasite Control and Reproduction.

This unit sets the strategic direction for the Parasiticide and Reproductive Business Worldwide and must also ensure alignment with this strategy with all functions within the organization.

This position, Global Marketing Associated Director, Parasite Control and Reproduction will be based in Madison, New Jersey, USA.

The Global Marketing Associated Director is empowered to:

  • Manage the pharmaceutical franchises for Reproduction and Parasite Control Platforms at our company's Animal Health. Including identifying synergies within our company's Animal Health Intelligence, Life cycle management, new product launches, diversification, and business development opportunities.
  • Understand, anticipate, and explore market trends, expressed and unexpressed customers' unmet needs and take full advantage of them for the ruminant reproductive and parasite control markets.
  • Develop and deploy plans specifically for Reproduction and Parasite Control for ruminants.
  • Create mid to long-term business strategy across Reproduction and Parasite Control and be responsible for maximizing the current portfolio, mainly through solution and services bridging the future needs and today's revenues generation.
  • Create, develop, and deploy international promotional and marketing campaigns and materials for Reproduction and Parasite Control platforms.
  • Communicate the strategies appropriately and efficiently with the Regions and Commercial operations stakeholders. Communicate the strategies appropriately and efficiently to all other internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the Global Technical Directors the necessary Market Support Studies to generate and transfer scientific information into marketing communication assets to drive the strategy on Parasite Control, Reproduction.
  • Identify marketing training needs and developing programs to address gaps in local markets.
  • Support the digital transformation of our go-to-market models (omnichannel marketing, lead generation, hybrid model…)
  • Be familiar with technology available on cattle and sheep farms, with a specific focus on electronic identification, monitoring and automatic insights made available for animal health and animal management

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably a degree in Business, Veterinary Medicine or Animal Science

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Marketing, Sales and/or Technical Services in Animal Health business.
  • Strong Marketing and Strategic Business Thinking Capabilities
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work with different sources of information
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including intercultural, interpersonal, and general communication with a natural ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to create, nurture, and drive a collaborative team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, namely Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated leadership skills

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Master and/or Doctor degree in the field would be preferred
  • Cross functional project management experience
  • Experience in a global or regional/local role
  • Other languages (Spanish, German, French, Portuguese) are beneficial
