Associate Director, U.S. Oncology – Consumer Portfolio Strategy

     

We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, U.S. Oncology – Consumer Portfolio Strategy. This position will be responsible for leading key elements of the long-term strategy across multiple tumors within our Oncology portfolio including immunotherapy, immunotherapy combinations and new product planning. The product(s) are currently launched and approved for use in the treatment of numerous cancers but an active program is in place to expand into other cancers.

The position will be based in Upper Gwynedd, PA or Philadelphia, PA and will report to a Director, U.S. Consumer Marketing Lead. Position is a hybrid work model with in-office and work from home work arrangements.

This position will require outstanding leadership in many areas including patient journey mapping, market research, strategy development, promotions, relationship building, budget management and overall flawless launch execution. Candidate will require the ability to deliver the business today, while simultaneously planning for future indications, and a proven track record to work successfully under tight and often fluctuating timelines.

Key responsibilities and experiences include and are not limited to the following:

· Experience leading strategy development and execution across a multi-function team

· Experience with product launches, preferably in oncology

· Experience with strategic planning beyond 5+ years across multiple product pipeline to ensure portfolio growth

· Strong understanding of the patient treatment journey including emotional and physical needs from diagnosis through post treatment

· Experience leveraging segmentation to customize the patient experience to support acquisition and adherence to brand(s)

· Ability to work closely with promotional colleagues to ensure pull through of the strategy across multiple channels

· Partner with multiple stakeholders, including Health Care Professionals (HCPs), science and other consumer brand strategy leads, to ensure alignment and find synergies across a multi-product portfolio

· Ability to lead and manage multiple vendor relationships to deliver a comprehensive and cohesive patient experience

· Experience in identifying insight gaps and recommend market research to meet strategic goals

· Expertise in media measurement and analytics for campaign development and impactful audience reach

· Work with complex scientific data and help to synthesize it for consumer comprehension

· Strong understanding of the oncology competitive landscape with the ability to foresee and predict market trends

· Deep understanding of oncology consumers and patients and what is needed to activate behavior change

· Demonstrated ability to successfully work in a complex matrix organization where exceptional collaboration is required to obtain desired results

· Requires approximately 20% travel, including some weekends.

Education Minimum Requirements:

· Required: Bachelor's degree

· Preferred: Master's degree

Required Experience and Skills:

· A minimum of 6 years of Consumer Marketing experience

· A minimum of 8 years of experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry

· Strong relationship building, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills

· Experience influencing without direct authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams

· Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment

· Experience in leading consumer brand strategy and implementation

Preferred Experience and Skills:

· 4+ years of Oncology Marketing experience, ideally with a focus in patient strategy and engagement

· Product/Indication launch experience
