Director, Access Marketing Cell Therapy

Summary:
Lead US Value Access and Payment (VAP) access market strategy and execution for the Cell Therapy Franchise, supporting Breyanzi across all indications.
Responsibilities:
Lead development of Market Access strategic plan for Breyanzi in alignment with brand plans and contribute to the market access portion of brand planning
Lead development of access strategies and execution plans supporting payers, organized customers, pathways, and other access-influencing organizations for the ongoing support of Breyanzi access strategic imperatives
Be responsible to recruit, develop and retain a high performing team that drives cross-functional collaboration, solution-orientation with an enterprise mindset. Continue to advance team culture and well-being by effectively developing the effectiveness of the team.
Develop brand specific resources and market relevant programming to support access and serve as a liaison with all cross-functional teams to ensure pull-through activities are aligned with brand objectives and priorities.
Champion priority access initiatives with meaningful impact to the business to commercial leadership
Collaborate across hematology director team to share learnings across the hematology and cell therapy business that will drive franchise success
Accountable for seeking cross-functional and field team input into access strategy and serve as brand primary point person for the Account Executives and brand teams
Develop internal working partnerships with Worldwide Access, HEOR, Pricing, Advocacy / Policy, and Legal to drive critical decision and ensure proper execution.
Provide input into payer and organized customer pricing strategies and understanding of reimbursement landscape.
Lead the market access portion of brand planning. Communicate access-specific strategies to internal business partners for incorporation into brand planning and field tool development.
Leads the development of the payer value story, supported by credible clinical, health economics and quality of life messages to support brand value; interfaces with HEOR team to guide evidence generation efforts that support payer value story development
Leverages understanding of the competitive landscape to anticipate and pre-empt future competitor moves by developing innovative strategies and tactics across Market Access
Provide input into above brand access initiatives and pull through learnings in branded access strategy
Ensures alignment on access strategy and key account plans and initiatives by partnering internally with Contracting Strategy, Account Management, Brand Marketing, and Corporate Affairs
Qualifications:
Must possess a bachelor’s degree and an advanced degree is strongly preferred
Candidates should have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently drive performance within a matrix organization
3+ years of leadership experience and 8+ years in pharmaceuticals and several years of marketing and market access experience are preferred
Demonstrated ability to access and influence various functional areas and motivate groups to action without direct line management responsibility
Experience in translating insights and strategies into effective marketing tactics, and ability to drive execution of key initiatives and meet all deadlines
Must have strong ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience and general knowledge across multiple market channels to include Payer, Provider, Employer, PBMs, Specialty Pharmacy, Distribution, Patient Services, ACOs, IDNs, etc. is strongly preferred
Understanding of benefit design, specialty pharmacy & distribution and funding economics associated with Medicare, Commercial and Medicaid Reimbursement.
Experience and knowledge of promotional regulatory processes is key
Additional competencies include Strategic Planning, marketing analytics, Brand Therapeutic Area Knowledge, Customer / Competitive insights, and Seasoned Judgment
Hematology-Oncology experience strongly preferred
Candidate must have demonstrated an ability to incorporate knowledge of the market and competitive landscape into brand and commercial strategies. Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently is required.
Occasional travel will include Launch Meetings, POAs, customer visits, market research
