Position Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Global Oncology team in a critical role contributing to product & franchise management. This role is for an experienced marketer to work on solutions within complex organizations and markets and leading sub teams in support of key marketing strategy areas.

  • Global launch strategy development & execution: Enable disease strategies & priority launches (Women Cancers, Genitourinary Cancers, Gastro Intestinal Cancers)
  • Pan Tumor areas strategy development & planning: contribute to the consolidation of disease areas strategic plans & priorities.
  • Lead Pan Tumor strategic projects: Take ownership of ad hoc strategic projects (disease area portfolio marketing, early stage market shaping..)
  • Global strategic workshop development with regional and local pull through
  • Tactical Planning & Execution (e.g., Advisory Boards, Congress Planning. Medical Education programs, Patient Engagement)
  • Launch readiness management and tracking globally and regionally
  • Annual strategic and tactical planning
  • Investor relations process management
  • Budget planning & monitoring

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will have demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and with a proven ability to create brand plans that generate both revenue and operating income.
  • Proven track record in strategy consolidation and problem solving.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional partners including research and development, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, market analytics, field sales organization, international and domestic operations, legal, scientific communications, professional education, training and development, health care compliance, etc… to successfully navigate the internal and external environments and deliver value to our customers.
  • Provides commercial input on such activities including product development team, target product profile development, global regulatory filing strategy, launch readiness reviews, organized customer interactions, market research, demand, revenue, and agency partner management.
  • Responsible for maximizing physician acceptance, market penetration, profitability, and new indication launch uptake.
  • Provides leadership, support, and expertise to country marketing and sales organizations as well as distribution channels for the product line.
  • Develops project and tactic assessments and valuations that leverage analytics and research to identify successes and areas for improvement to optimize spend.

Education Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Master's degree (MBA) preferred.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 4+ year’s pharmaceutical business experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years marketing experience required.
  • Experience in oncology preferred, Strategic marketing background at affiliate, global, consultancy as a +.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in development of disease state and product strategy, product positioning, and brand marketing.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills are required.
  • Experience with collaboration, influencing without authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams is required.
  • This position requires approximately 15-20 % travel, including some weekends.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Product/indication launch experience is preferred.
  • Genitourinary experience preferred.
  • Experience in sales and global marketing preferred.

Position Location: Kenilworth, NJ with Hybrid work model (combination of in-office and work from home ability).

Expected salary range:

$144,320.00 - $227,100.00
