As marketing roles across the US Oncology organization are evolving and broadening, this position is designed to be a flexible marketing role that may focus on any aspect of marketing over time based on business needs and/or the capabilities and development needs of the team. The initial focus of the role is outlined below, but the role could include or shift to other aspects of marketing in the future.
We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, US Oncology Health Care Professional (HCP) Marketing role. This position will be responsible for the HCP marketing strategy, execution, and analytics for the US Breast Cancer franchise to maximize the current opportunity and build a strong foundation for future indications.
The position will be based in Upper Gwynedd, PA but can operate from anywhere in the US and will report to the Executive Director, Tumor Lead for Breast Cancer in the US Oncology Marketing.
This is a pivotal role and will require outstanding leadership in many different areas including portfolio/competitive strategy, competitive readiness, scenario planning, customer model, performance analytics, launch readiness for future data, and cross-functional/ agencies collaboration. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, experienced marketer with a track record of commercial success and cross-functional team leadership.
Key Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
Lead the portfolio/ competitive strategy and build a comprehensive competitive readiness plan across various scenarios for early stage and metastatic indications
Evolve the customer model for key stakeholders (MedOncs, Surgeons, others) across community and academic settings
Build a robust launch readiness plan for future data and indications
Co-lead key precision marketing initiatives for the franchise
Champion digital innovation and social media strategy for the portfolio to maximize value for our customers
Develop a comprehensive brand performance analytics and tracking dashboard for the franchise with robust 360 metrics and actionable insights
Partner with market research, CI and analytics team to generate key insights and further enhance the execution plan
Monitor, analyze, and synthesize key market dynamics in the rapidly evolving landscape
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to prioritize work and facilitate internal resource trade-offs as needed, e.g., budget, PRT review time
Escalate issues that represent significant barriers to execution and/or business impact
Challenge status quo and gain sponsorship/ support within the company to address gaps.

Education Requirement:
Required: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
Preferred: Master's Degree (MBA/MS)
Required Experience and Skills:
5+ years of Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience OR brand marketing experience in any industry
3+ years of Healthcare Professional (HCP) marketing experience
Strong marketing skills including developing marketing strategies, executing tactics, performance tracking, competitive planning and accountability for product growth
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize key insights to drive business
Demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities
Focused mindset on customer experience
Strong interpersonal/negotiation, relationship building, and ability to influence within and across organizations
Strong problem solving, teamwork, project management and written/ verbal communication skills
Experience influencing without direct authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams and multiple agency partners
Requires up to 20% travel, including some weekends

Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
