Job Description

In this position, you will be the owner for Organon CV brands in retail, translating the most up-to-date data and insights, environmental changes and evolving channel strategies to create an impactful and meaningful experience for CV patients in China. This leader will be responsible for developing the patient strategy, creative development, demand generation, and execution of the retail marketing plan within China.

The role will include working with our in-house resources to conduct in-depth research to identify market opportunities and consumer preferences to support campaign creations, forecast market trends and align on channel levers. Research will be designed to identify new insights and generate innovative ideas to promote our brand.

Our lead will be at the center of emerging opportunities sitting at the intersection of our targets’ needs and wants, people who influence them, cultural values, technology, identifying where to reach them and how to drive success in an evolving environment.

The candidate must also be effective in collaborating with outside agencies, Sales, Clinical, Legal/Regulatory and Communications teams to translate strategy, develop and execute programs.

In this role, you will…

  • Develop China CV retail strategy, messaging and positioning, claims, creative/message briefs, asset development and patient education.

  • Develop the vision and strategy of how we use data and insights to drive segmentation, targeting, messaging and campaigns, and how those can be adapted based on patient segment and journey.

  • Drive and lead innovative projects to patients/ key stakeholders based on CV strategy in retail in a compliance manner, to bring about meaningful impact on brands’ business.

  • Deep cooperate with commercial teams. Provide guidance and direction across multi-channel growth strategy based on needs and efficiency.

  • Manage annual and quarterly expense budget.

  • Assess business trends, competition, and opportunities/risks. Proactively create plans to address issues/risks and opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing.

  • Proven track record developing marketing strategies and powerful multi-channel campaigns, insights on silver generation a plus.

  • Proven ability to deliver strategic leadership in marketing communications to cross-divisional team members as well as the ability to deliver at the tactical level.

  • Excellent insights creation, creative ideation, people skills, presentation, and planning abilities with demonstrated experience speaking and writing clearly and convincingly.

  • Ability to think and execute within dynamic, fast-paced organization.

  • Clear thinking/problem solving; successfully leading multiple projects/initiatives; able to conceive of and quickly build new ideas; able to simplify strategy into specific actions with clear accountability; make decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information and communicate priorities clearly and concisely.

  • Ability to plan and manage a budget, with expenditures clearly tied to defined metrics and outcomes for all major projects and initiatives.

  • A collaborative style that builds relationships with key cross-functional partners and leads through influence.

  • The ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Candidates who have experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is preferred.

  • Candidates should have significant experience with consumer insights, concepting.

  • Proven team leadership and management experience.

  • Proven ability to articulate and lead a long-term strategic communications platform that builds and supports business.

  • Understanding of the promotional review process to ensure campaign assets are reviewed and approved.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset

Education Requirements:

Minimum of a BA required, MBA preferred
