We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, US Precision Medicine. The Marketing Associate Director will be responsible for development and implementation of both the strategic and tactical marketing programs for biomarkers for the oncology portfolio in the US market. As marketing roles across the US Oncology organization are evolving and broadening, this position is designed to be a flexible marketing role that may focus on any aspect of marketing over time based on business needs and/or the capabilities and development needs of the team. The primary focus of the role will be scientific strategy and is outlined below, but the role could include or shift to other aspects of marketing in the future such as field execution, HCP strategy performance-reporting & data analytics, etc.

The position location will be in Upper Gwynedd, PA (Hybrid work model is combination of in-office and work from home)

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with precision medicine scientific strategy lead and key internal and external stakeholders including, Medical Affairs, Clinical Outcomes Research, Precision Medicine field team and key Scientific Leaders to develop precision medicine scientific narrative and medical education resources; including digital medical education content in collaboration with the precision medicine digital engagement lead

  • Develop the strategic approach to congress/conference participation of the brand and work with agencies & internal stakeholders to prepare congress summaries

  • Develop relationships with top SL’s and share insights and perspectives relevant to the marketing team and key stakeholders

  • Lead the development and execution of the innovative pilots, messaging campaigns, and resources to address customer needs and increase biomarker testing

  • Lead 1S/2S National Sales Meetings for the Precision Medicine team, leading the PM marketing teams to pull through execution to the field facing teams

  • Support biomarker driven indications for women's' cancers (TNBC, cervical, endometrial, ovarian) providing insights and diagnostic strategic initiatives to aid the tumor brand team strategy & promotional plans

Education Requirement:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)

  • Preferred: Advanced Degree (MBA, PharmD, etc.)

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years' pharmaceutical/ biotech experience with at least 3 years of brand marketing/sales experience

  • Strong interpersonal/negotiation, relationship building, and ability to influence within and across organizations

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work in a complex matrix organization where exceptional collaboration is required to obtain desired results

  • Strong problem solving, project management, and written/ verbal communication skills

  • Experience bringing promotional materials through legal, regulatory, and medical review

  • Test-and-learn mindset to drive a culture of innovation and customer experience

  • Requires approximately 20% travel, including some weekends.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Prior U.S. Oncology Scientific Marketing, Promotion, and/or Sales experience strongly preferred

  • Customer Facing experience in pharmaceutical/ biotech industry

  • Experience with biomarkers/diagnostics/precision medicine
