Associate Director, Global Marketing Oncology - Precision Medicine (Hybrid)
Our Marketing team is passionate about bringing our medicines and vaccines to our customers around the world. This position is for someone who is a passionate marketer, who can take the complex and make it simple, and who thrives working in global matrix organizations. The Associate Director, Precision Medicine will help shape efforts to bring biomarker and diagnostic strategies to life. This role will drive growth for current indications and prepare for upcoming launches.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Work collaboratively with multiple teams including the Global Disease / Asset / Alliance Teams, Regional leads, Market Research, Learning & Development, Global Communications, and Information Technology to continuously optimize diagnostic strategies, create content and achieve assigned product aspiration
Leverage existing Marketing Excellence Strategic Framework to obtain a deep understanding of customer segments, drivers & barriers, influencers and the ecosystems in which they operate to ensure Precision Medicine Strategy is integrated into launch planning
In alignment with key stakeholders shape key strategic communication objectives and messaging for assigned brand(s), simplifying complexity, and collaborating across the portfolio to ensure a consistent, positive customer experience
Continue to refine and evolve Precision Medicine brand identity and integrate into strategy
Collaborate with Global Precision Medicine on strategy for innovative technologies / solutions i.e. NGS, Digital Pathology, etc.
Partner and co-create with regions and markets to ensure alignment of strategy, messaging, and resources and to facilitate best-practice sharing
Manage relationship with promotional agencies, ensuring that work meets the strategic and communication objectives and projects are delivered on time and on budget
Lead promotional material end-to-end, from ideation through development of content, design, and Promotional Review Team (PRT) approvals
Embrace agile mindset through customer focus, co-creation, experimentation, and a metrics-driven approach to continuous improvement Ensure the appropriate administration of promotional budgets for assigned products
Education Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing, marketing communications, or marketing support of pharmaceutical products
Demonstrated ability to execute a brand or customer marketing strategy
Experience leading cross-functional team through influence and not direct reporting
Strong knowledge of marketing principles including our company's Marketing Excellence Strategicframework
Comfortable working in complex science
Campaign and Message Development experience
Management across organizational lines
Strong communication skills
Agency/vendor management skills
Preferred Experience and Skills:
5+ years experience in marketing, marketing communications, or marketing support of pharmaceutical products
Knowledge/understanding of Biomarkers
Marketing/Marketing support in Oncology, Precision Medicine or Hospital/Specialty Global experience preferred
Experience in company end-to-end medical/legal (Promotional Review Team) review and delivery processes, including PROMOMATS
Experience with our company Marketing Excellence Strategic Frameworks
Knowledge of our company's commercial, regulatory, and legal compliance policies

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Under New York State, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:$144,320.00 - $227,100.00
