Job Description

Our Digital marketing team is innovating how we understand our patients, customers and their needs. Working cross functionally we are inventing new ways of speaking, measuring and interacting with our customers and patients through digital channels and technologies.

In this role, as Digital Engagement Marketing and Execution Lead, you will provide direction and vision for the newly created US GHH Vaccines Portfolio Digital Engagement Team (DET). You will put marketing strategy into action as you lead the development of our data-driven customer experience and campaign planning for our vaccine confidence efforts to HCPs and HCCs as well as cross-portfolio marketing efforts with key organized customer segments including pharmacy, payers, large health systems, and employers. You'll shape and orchestrate fully integrated digital campaigns and confidently lead our agency and internal teams through the creative process for campaigns, resources, and relevant content. This is your chance to use your digital knowledge to employ new technologies and new channels developing customer-experience best practices and targeting, to achieve an optimal customer experience. Employing AGILE practices and a test and learn approach through each phase of the project, you'll wear many different hats as you collaborate with strategy leads, design, architecture, internal legal, medical and regulatory teams in the co-design, co-creation, measurement and optimization process.

This position is location agnostic.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Leading collaboration with existing Vaccines Brand Product Owners/CEMLs, Marketing Leadership and Vaccine Customer Marketing SMEs to socialize the Vaccine Portfolio Digital Engagement Team’s strategy, align on priorities across segments, and develop integrated roadmaps which assist in achieving portfolio goals.

  • Ensure alignment on what work commences through your assigned Portfolio DET and/or a brand specific DET.

  • Maintain a transparent and well communicated prioritized backlog of work the team will deliver that reflects agreed portfolio priorities.

  • Ensure alignment on the strategic measurement cascade of each work item to be able to assign business and customer value to the work with marketing and creative partners.

  • Lead communication of creative work increments for inspection with stakeholders to the envisioned measurement goals.

  • Lead a peer based digital operations and creative team executing omni-channel campaigns from the idea stage through execution, implementation and in market optimization based on learnings.

  • Represent the business priorities, business strategy and own tasks related to the execution of materials throughout the process.

  • Own the team’s ongoing Sprint Goals and Release Planning cadence which includes regular assessment of the omnichannel work demand plan and aligning the appropriate resources to deliver with quality and speed - including creative shared services.

  • Own the relationship with the review team comprised of medical and regulatory to ensure highly engaging and compliant content.

  • Set and monitor budget and find cost efficiencies; continued budget administration including creation and management of purchase orders.


Required Experience and Skills:

  • BA/BS

  • 3+ years of combined digital marketing/marketing support, strategic marketing, brand management or sales experience

  • Strong digital acumen and understanding of criteria for effective digital content

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills as demonstrated through experience in strategy & marketing business case communication, sales interface, direct customer engagement and/or sales presentations

  • Development, measurement, and optimization of digital campaigns to support marketing strategy

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Master’s degree/MBA degree

  • Experience influencing without direct authority, navigating complex or matrix organizations and working successfully with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous space, shifting from the tactical to the strategic

  • Experience with communication/marketing to health care providers/consumers/payers

  • Experience in a highly regulated environment (with medical/legal review processes)

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics and/or customer and market insights to make business decisions

  • Strong project management skills as demonstrated by prioritizing activities, using resources optimally, establishing appropriate deadlines and ensuring on-time delivery

  • Understanding of US vaccines market

  • Ability to define, gather, and analyze information, opportunities and threats in the external environment including from competitors, policies and other market forces

  • Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze data and effectively respond to new, complex or problematic situations

  • Demonstrated ability to create solutions that drive value for our customers, incorporating innovative approaches where relevant

  • Understanding of promotional process and guidelines

NOTE: While primary location is listed as Upper Gwynedd, PA, this position can be worked remotely in the U.S.
