Our product has multiple indications, but this position will primarily be focused on Breast Cancer launch and in-line indication with responsibility for both strategy & execution.

The Director US Oncology Marketing - Alliance position will be based in Upper Gwynedd, PA but can operate from anywhere in the US and will report to the US Commercial Franchise Head, Oncology Alliance. The position requires oncology marketing experience, as well as outstanding leadership in all areas of product management, including:

  • Market assessment

  • Strategy development: e.g., product positioning, branding/ promotion, thought leader engagement, scientific strategy, channel strategies, market access/ reimbursement, competitive dynamics, issues management

  • Strategy execution

  • Forecasting and budgets management

  • Resource prioritization

  • Launch execution & In-line marketing

  • Apply agile values, principles, and practices

  • Test and learn mindset to drive culture of innovation

The position will lead a number of direct reports (Associate Directors and/or Senior Specialists) as well as have responsibility for extended stakeholders across the alliance with expectation to build a diverse and effective team structure while recognizing, motivating, and retaining talent.

Education Minimum Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree

  • Preferred: Master's degree

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of (10) years Pharmaceutical business experience including at least 5 years marketing and 2 years people management experiences

  • Strong leadership, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills

  • Experience with collaboration, influencing without authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams

  • Oncology experience and deep understanding of specialty pharmacy purchase or buy and bill in oncology

  • Demonstration of strategic thinking, planning, and execution

  • Understanding of customer landscape in oncology market

  • Requires approximately 25% travel, including some weekends

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Breast cancer sales or marketing experience

  • Co-promotion or Joint-Venture partnership experience

  • Product/Indication launch experience

  • Payer marketing experience

  • Involvement in development of prescribing information for oncology products

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in marketplace assessment, development of disease/ product strategy, product positioning, and brand Marketing
