Global Oncology Marketing Strategy & Operations Director
Job Description

In April 2020, our Company announced plans to consolidate our New Jersey campuses into a single New Jersey headquarters location in Rahway, NJ by 2023. Therefore, this role will be temporarily based in an exact timing of the departmental move to Rahway, NJ and will be communicated at a future date.

Within Human Health, our Global Oncology Organization is currently recruiting for a Global Oncology Marketing Strategy & Operations Director to join the Global Oncology Strategy & Operations Team reporting to the Executive Director of Strategy & Operations. Our Oncology team is dedicated to delivering breakthrough innovations that extend and improve the lives of cancer patients worldwide.

The Strategy & Operations Team plays a critical role in supporting our Oncology aspirations through developing cross-cutting commercial ambition, strategies and supporting implementation for the Global Oncology organization. We are focused on creatively unlocking the full potential of our portfolio over the long term, working with stakeholders internally and externally, across divisions, functions and geographies.
This role is for someone who is a self-starter, loves working on complex, ambiguous, strategic topics and who thrives on engaging and leading broadly across the organization to drive towards tangible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Refining overarching ambition and strategy for the Global Oncology organization and translating this to priorities for the business
Driving cross-cutting strategic projects across the business towards tangible and actionable outcomes | Guiding the cross-functional efforts toward ensuring sustainable longer-term access to our Oncology innovations across the globe
Directing ongoing development of a broad Lifecycle Management strategy for our company’s Oncology portfolio, and directing the initiatives and workstreams that come from this strategy through to implementation
Enabling efficient and effective Operations for the Global Oncology organization, including leading and redefining financial/forecasting processes, strategic processes, cross-divisional processes, cross-geographic processes, corporate processes and others
Ensuring that the overarching strategy and initiatives are well informed by ongoing insights and analytics around customers, competitors and the broader environment
Education
Bachelor degree or MBA

Required
Strong in strategic thinking and approaching complex problems with a good balance of structure, curiosity and practicality | See through complexity to get to a tangible outcome
Direct and collaborate with broad and complex teams of stakeholders—across divisions, functions and geographies
Principled and strategic verbal and written communications | Presentation approach to all levels of an organization
Commercial disposition with good base of business acumen and high analytical rigor
